Realizeit is a platform designed to help plan, develop and deliver traditional and competency-based adaptive courses. Instructors can author courses from scratch or borrow and customize content from the Realizeit library. Realizeit is a cloud-based system that begins courses with an assessment and then uses an algorithm to determine student learning paths. The system also generates predictive analytics. Instructors can set objectives for learners, migrate legacy material, add media, create assessments and view reports. They can use the courseware when teaching in fully online, blended or face-to-face formats.
Realizeit’s adaptive algorithms consider factors such as time to complete learning exercises, performance on questions, learning style preference, master of prior learning objectives, past performance of students with a similar learner profile and time since last interaction with relevant content. Instructors can customize grading policies allow students to skip content that the technology does not think the student has mastered, add content from outside the courseware, give individual students different assignments, choose competencies and learning objectives, add content and assessments, plan lessons and decide on sequencing.
