PRIDE Reading Program

GRADES / Elementary (Grades K-4), Middle School (Grades 5-8), Pre-K
PLATFORMS / Web Browser

The PRIDE Reading Program is an easy to use, multisensory, structured literacy, Orton-Gillingham reading, writing, spelling and comprehension curriculum. There is a homeschool version for parents that want to teach the program in their homeschool, and there is a teacher/school version that can be used for teaching 1:1 or small groups in the classroom. The program is ideal for children with dyslexia, auditory or visual processing, speech deficits and other learning differences. Every lesson in the PRIDE Reading Program is highly structured. The lessons are taught in a planned sequence which keeps the child focused on the targeted skill. Each sound (phoneme) in the English language is taught in isolation with repetition and enough time in between each skill for learning and mastery. With this program, there is no need for extensive training or advanced understanding of the spelling and reading rules that are being taught. PRIDE's easy to follow, 100% scripted and lesson planned, step-by-step online Teaching Guide will walk each parent, teacher, tutor or speech therapist, through each skill and how to teach it, making this curriculum ideal for any classroom setup. There is no need to lesson plan or prepare any materials ever. Everything the teacher needs for the Orton-Gillingham, structured literacy lessons are provided.
