Permission Click is an online tool that allows teachers and administrators to electronically send permission slips, forms, and payment collections to parents. Using Permission Click, teachers create consent and other forms, receive approval from administrators, and send it directly to parents’ for completion. It is free for all users.
APPROACH
Parents, teachers and administrators start using Permission click by going to the website, selecting which type of user they are, and following prompts to create an account.
Once logged in, teachers can go to their ‘Create Event’ dashboard to create a digital permission slip for parents. They do so by uploading the document from their computer, or using the drag and drop template builder tool. They then send the consent form to administrators who can accept, reject, or comment on the permission slip before it is sent out to parents. Once approved, the consent form is electronically delivered to parents’ Permission Click inboxes.
From their profile, parents fill out sent consent forms using an e-signature. They can also pay school field trip and other administrative fees directly from their dashboard. Administrators and teachers view summary reports and receipts of signed consent forms and fee collections, respectively, from their reporting dashboard.
WHO’S USING IT
As of 2015, Permission Click is being used in over 500 schools.
PRICING
Permission Click’s permission slip and form collection tools are free for all users in a ‘Stand-Alone Edition’. Pricing inquiries about the ‘Integration Edition’-- district licenses compatible with school integration systems-- can be made on the website.
