Project Unicorn Vendor Signatory
Learnmetrics is a workflow and data management program for schools. It allows district administrators, school leaders, and teachers to monitor school, department and student data, progress and performance. It is available for purchase at an annual rate.
APPROACH
District administrators, school leaders, and teachers begin using Learnmetrics by creating a district, school, or classroom account, respectively. Once logged in, users follow prompts to enter in all pertinent district, school, and class or student information. From their home dashboard, users can view reported school data from ‘recipes,’ updated in real time.
‘Recipes’ are customized performance indicators. To create a ‘recipe,’ users select the ‘Recipe’ dashboard from their navigation bar. They follow prompts to name the recipe and choose the focal point: student, instructor, section, course, or department. They then select the data points and integrated third party data sources they wish to glean data from, such as PowerSchool or Khan Academy. After setting corresponding weights and thresholds by which to make data measurements, users add the new metric to the dashboard.
Users then refresh the dashboard and Learnmetrics uploads data of all students in the system meeting this recipe need. Via the messaging tool, administrators and students can send a message to all students and their parents who meet this need, or select students individually. By clicking on the student individually, administrators or teachers can see student areas of struggle by curriculum codes imported from the data sources. They tag this curriculum code in student or parent messages, and Learnmetrics attaches additional academic resources such as study materials to send to the student in a playlist.
WHO’S USING IT
As of 2016, over 50 schools are currently using Learnmetrics.

We wanted to be able to get all of our data in one place and build customized visualizations to identify trends across the data. We were tired of using multiple platforms for standards mastery, progress reports, culture data, meal tracking, and state reporting.
