Hubbli is a school communication tool for staff, parents and students. Users can create groups for individual discussions, create surveys, publish school newsletters, schedule appointments between teachers and parents, and manage school invoices. Hubbli can be purchased by school leaders and district administrators for a monthly fee per school, depending on the number of functions activated.
Once the school portal is set up by Hubbli, teachers, administrators, students and parents can log in with their account.
Hubbli contains five major tabs, one for each of the core functions of the tool: Group features, Digital Forms and Files, School Newsletters, Scheduling Automation and School Invoice Management.
Group features: The first tab allows teachers, students, and parents to create their own facebook-like groups, for example for parents whose students are in the same class. Users can use the group to hold events, upload media files, and post announcements or attachments. Hubbli sends updates both through the tool itself, email and SMS. Groups can be set to either public or private to control the accessibility of different audiences, and the administrator can grant different privileges to various users.
Digital Forms: The second feature allows teachers or parents to conduct surveys or polls. The information collected from the survey is organized on a spreadsheet so that users may filter it. Users may also download the info desired as an excel file.
School Newsletter: The third tab enables school staff to choose one of the seven email templates or create a newsletter on their own. They can see the number of emails sent or received, opens and bounces in the newsletter dashboard.
Scheduling Automation: The fourth tab allows parents to sign up for parent-teacher meetings on a calendar. The appointment can be confirmed automatically or be shown as pending until approved manually by the school staff. Hubbli’s appointment calendar can be also be synced with Google calendar.
School Invoice Management System: The last tab lets each family see their own account page with their balance and account history. School staff gain access to a dashboard with graphs and overall payment info, and can set different payment scenarios such as one-time or recurring.
Hubbli is available on a modern browser.
Hubbli can be purchased by school leaders and district administrators. It is based on a monthly subscription ranging from $149 to $249 per school per month depending on the functions purchased. Details can be found here.
