Fuel Education (Formerly Aventa Learning) provides browser-based curriculum for students ages pre-K to twelfth grade. Teachers can choose from a library of educator-written or third party educational resources to create a curriculum that they can assign to either a whole class or individual students. PEAK, the learning management system operated by Fuel Education, allows teachers view student progress and access growth data.
Teachers and schools can curate online curriculum across content areas by choosing from a library of resources. Resources come from shared educator-created tools or 3rd-party curriculum from open educational source arenas such as Khan Academy, YouTube Education and Brittanica Schools. Once a teacher has selected her curriculum, she can assign it to all students in their class or individual students.
Teachers use PEAK, the learning management system operated by FuelEd, to choose what courses and resources to include in their curriculum. Additionally, PEAK includes the teacher dashboard that stores student information data. The system also tracks how much of each Edtech tool is being used. This information can be used by school leaders to determine what exact Edtech tools are most driving student outcomes. Students work on courses in a student dashboard. All student work and performance data is automated into their student profile, which is available for teacher and administrator view. Additionally, student engagement and performance data can be accessed in the teacher's dashboard that tracks student growth, as well as strengths and challenges in specific skill areas.
Professional development, taught by certified teachers, is available for product implementation and best practices.
School administrators or teachers can fill out an enrollment form for individual students, classrooms, or entire schools. From there, a representative from Fuel Education will contact the teacher or administrator and give them a quote based on their needs.
Many courses require materials and textbooks. Once registration is complete, Fuel Education will send the teacher or administrator information on what materials are needed, as well as the price.
Once enrollment is confirmed, teachers and students will receive login credentials and can begin online courses.
