Project Unicorn Vendor Signatory
Ellevation organizes all English Language Learner (ELL) information and data from an entire school district into one dashboard. It allows teachers, specialists, and administrators to collaborate on individual ELL instruction plans and goals, communicate with parents, and access district wide aggregate assessment data. Ellevation subscriptions are purchased by districts.
APPROACH
Elevations goal is to consolidate all data reporting for a district's ELLs into one dashboard that teachers, specialists, administrators, and parents can access and contribute to.
School districts use Ellevation by creating district profiles and entering in all ELL information.
Using the Ellevation InClass component of the site, classroom teachers identify their ELL students, access their Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in class, and organize their instruction accordingly. Educators can track test taking taking accommodations for current students in addition to information for reclassified students.
Teachers and language specialist educators use Ellevation by logging on to their district dashboard and searching for individual or aggregate student data and information. Using a drop down menu, they select which data or individual student information to view and work on. Choosing an appropriate menu, they can set goals for individual students and access ELL learning plans.
Educators can also communicate with parents through Ellevation by sending out parent letters in 28 different languages.
