Edusight is a free web, iPhone and iPad app that helps teachers track and grade assessments and integrate comments, photos and video into more in-depth student portfolios. Since launch, over 10,000 students and over 1,000 teachers have used Edusight in over 100 schools.
Edusight helps teachers track and grade assessments and integrate comments, photos and video into more in-depth student portfolios. Edusight was designed to help parents, students and teachers receive a more complete understanding of student progress and mastery.
The class dashboard displays each student and all of their current assessments, which can easily be assigned with a grade, which can be letter grades, percentages, levels or custom metrics. Each grade interval has a different color providing teachers with a heat map of their class’s performance. Teachers can export these grades as a CSV or PDF. In addition to grades, teachers can add comments, photos and video to each student’s profile. Teachers can also create accounts for students and teachers, enabling them to access these student portfolios to better understand their classwork and progress.
Edusight is available on the Apple App Store for both the iPhone and iPad, as well as through a web-browser.
Edusight is free for teachers and schools to use, and they can create student and parent accounts for free as well.
