Easy Tech is designed to introduce students to the technology and 21st century skills needed to succeed in the modern world. The product presents keyboarding and online safety skills, and is available for a subscription fee.
EasyTech Keyboarding: This product runs from basic hand positioning for younger students through advanced practice for middle schoolers. Teachers assign lessons and activities to individual students. Keyboarding activities include traditional letter drills, as well as paragraph writing challenges. EasyTech provides teachers with data on individual students’ or whole class progress, as well the letters that each individual student struggles to type correctly.
Online Safety: EasyTech’s online safety curriculum provides teachers with lessons plans on a variety of topics. These include cyberbullying, safe texting, avoiding online scams, and several others. According to its website, the program approaches topics with a “positive,” non-fear-based approach. EasyTech also provides guides for parents to connect them with the content being taught in class.
EasyTech is available on a browser, as well as through iPad, Andorid and Kindle Fire apps.
