Virtual curriculum delivery for kids ages 3-8 that has games, online learning modules, and offline activity recommendations

Overview

Curiosityville is a learning platform that engages kids ages 3-8 in a virtual world to help them develop cognitive and academic skills. Susan Magsamen founded Curiosityville in 2011 to provide families and educators the resources they need to help children build resiliency and strong physical, social-emotional, and academic skills at an early age.

Curiosityville offers its digital content through its web-based learning management system. Children progress through an interactive virtual world doing activities and playing games aligned to the Common Core State Standards. Parents and educators receive immediate feedback to track each child’s progress. The platform gives students, educators, and parents both online and offline activities to help children grow in areas that they need to improve. It also highlights the methods in which particular students learn best, helping both students and teachers prepare for school. Curiosityville can be used as a supplemental tool to support teachers in the classroom and allow parents to continue supporting their kids’ education at home.
