APPROACH
Both parents and teachers begin using ClassTag by creating an account and logging in. Once logged in, teachers follow prompts to enter in all pertinent classroom and parent contact information. They then select the ‘Events’ dashboard to create an event. Teachers create events by completing a templated form with event details such as title, date, time, special details, RSVP requirements, chaperone volunteer requests, event item requests, and location details. Once completed, all upcoming events appear on the ‘Events’ dashboard feed. To check parent responses or event status, teachers select the event and view which parents have read event-related messages, RSVPed, and volunteered to chaperone or bring requested items.
Parents view events by logging into their account and viewing the ‘Events’ dashboard. To respond to chaperone, item, or RSVP requests, parents select the specific event and respond accordingly. Parents also receive email reminders as event dates get closer.
PRICING
ClassTag is free for all users.
