CICERO Kids is a website with thousands of lessons and multimedia activities meant to teach K-5 students American History and ELA skills. Through its website, students explore a virtual museum to learn about American history. Each room focuses on a specific history event and contains interactive history and ELA focused activities. CICERO Kids is available through a per student license.
APPROACH
Teachers establish lesson plans for their students through a curator portal within the CICERO online museum. Within the portal, teachers can access lessons built around periods in American History. Each lesson follows a similar structure and includes supporting exercises, texts and assessments, which teachers can assign to students.
Once teachers have determined a lesson plan, students engage with CICERO’s content by exploring the virtual museum. Items within the museum lead students to different experiences. For example, a treasure chest links to history related games, while a book might lead students to a historical text. Other items within the museum lead to timelines, projects for students to complete, and more. All text-based content can be translated into other languages at any point.
IMPLEMENTATION
CICERO Kids is accessible through any modern web-browser.
PRICING
CICERO Kids can be licensed for $10 per student/year.
