Café Learn is a platform to build course-complete courseware using modular learning objects. Instructors using Café Learn set learning outcomes and corresponding “learning paths” for students, which draw from a repository of activities, textbook readings, videos, assessments, and other resources. This “Idea Exchange” repository includes commercial and OER learning objects for instructors to contribute to, draw from, and share among colleagues. Instructors can assign content to appear only when students are either struggling or excelling in the course. Students and instructors can use a peer-to-peer and peer-to-instructor communication tool, and can see analytics reports through a dashboard, which instructors can filter by module, learning outcome, assessment, or student. Instructors can use Café Learn in face-to-face, blended or fully-online environments.
