3D GameLab is a quest-based learning platform that teachers and students can use to create and play leveled questions. Students can work toward subject mastery by earning points and other rewards.
The platform was invented by Dr. Lisa Dawley, CEO of GoGo Labs, and former professor and chair of the Dept. of Educational Technology at Boise State University, and Dr. Chris Haskell, Clinical Assistant Professor in the Dept. of EdTech at Boise State.
The company also makes available an educator learning community with monthly online teacher camps. A basic account that supports up to 75 students is free and supports one quest; an "educator" account that supports 175 students, 10 quest groups and Mozilla badges, and tech support is $9.95/month. A "legendary educator" account, which supports teachers earning professional development credits is $245/year.
