The Acton Innovation Challenge
May 18, 2012
A new competition to identify edu-innovators and give them a chance to disrupt the system. Seven finalists will get paired with seven industry experts (including Innosight Institute's Michael Horn and Heather Staker) for intense, 14-week mano-a-mano mentoring sessions. The top winner will emerge with either $10K or a year's tuition for the Acton School of Business, which is sponsoring the competition. Entering costs $25; forty semi-finalists will have to pay their own fare to present in Austin; the seven will pay $1,500 for participating in the program. The program is the brainchild of Acton co-founder, millionaire and well-regarded professor, Jeff Sandefer.
