Here's another from Chicago! Venture philanthropy fund A Better Chicago has announced the launch of Project Impact, open to non-profits targeting low-income households, with a focus on early childhood development, K-12, or workforce development. Proposed projects must be launched in the Chicago area. One winner will receive $100k and 12 months of support and connections with Chicago business and civic leaders; finalists will receive $20k each. Applications open July 9--but it never hurts to get a head start.
