AMP-ED UP: Just launched: a new accelerator program, L.A.-based Amplify, focusing on "the intersection of technology and entertainment." But they've got an eye out for fun edtech stuff as well, according to Chris Olson, who runs operations at GetBonkers, a currently incubated startup working on mobile learning games. Amplify is accepting apps year-round, and offers up to $50k, a swank open-space office in Venice, and a solid lineup of mentors and legal/business support.
