Tana Africa Capital: Got a big edtech play that will work in Africa? Put this on your radar: a brand-new $300 million fund, launched by South Africa's Oppenheimer family and Singapore state-owned investor, Temasek Holdings. Tana aims to make five or six investments in the $40 to $50 million range over the next few years in consumer goods and agriculture, and (to a lessor extent) in media, education and healthcare.
