Blackboard Lands $767K Contract to Support 60,000 Arizona Teachers

May 27, 2014

PD FOR ALL: Blackboard has completed a $767,000, four-year contract with the Arizona Department of Education to support its 60,000 educators in over 2,000 public schools with online and mobile learning courses, real-time video for collaboration, and integrations with existing state PD systems. Teachers will be able to register for courses, pay fees, and track progress toward certification all in one place. While the company will use Innovative Classroom, it will also partner with Truenorthlogic, a platform for professional development delivery that can be configured for specific needs. The Arizona DOE will use the platform to support educators to implement Common Core Standards.
