STEM'S INDY 500: Race cars can illustrate STEM lessons about topics like velocity and gravity for fourth graders--even when the race cars are tiny. In "Speedometry," the USC Rossier School of Education and Mattel offer up two units of free curriculum on potential and kinetic energy using Hot Wheels to teach STEM. Stay tuned for a Spanish language version and a Family Engagement component later this fall.
