EdSurge Summit Heads to Los Angeles in September

Summit season is upon us again! First stop: Los Angeles on September 12-13, 2014. EdSurge will be rolling out the red carpet for educators in the City of Angels and giving them a chance to tire-kick some of the latest and most innovative technologies available to support learning.

Co-hosted by CUE and the USC Rossier School of Education, the L.A. EdSurge Tech for Schools Summit will bring together entrepreneurs and Southern California educators on Rossier’s lovely campus.

Play. Explore. Listen. Share.

These are the themes of every EdSurge Summit, where we deliver a day of active, hands-on learning. Whether you’re searching for a personalized learning tool, or seeking real, unvarnished feedback, our Summits offer genuine learning opportunities for everyone.

This L.A. event follows in a tradition that began in November 2013 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA and continued in Baltimore and Nashville this past spring. We brought together over 600 educators to meet with entrepreneurs from over 30 companies at each of these cities.

“I felt so appreciated and pampered while learning about new technology to use in my classroom. My voice seemed to matter,” shared Catonsville High School teacher, Melanie Coates at the Baltimore Summit.

Kristl Wong was equally enthusiastic about last year’s Silicon Valley summit: “It was such a treat to be treated like a professional…the venue, the food, the prizes, time to talk and play with various tools. I made some great contacts and learned about so many fabulous edtech tools.”
