The Debut of HBX: Harvard Business School Not Ready for Disruption?

BREAKING TRADITION: A recent NY Times article asked a relatively simple question: "Should Harvard Business School enter the business of online education, and, if so, how?" The answer to the first part of that question is a fervent "yes"; in fact, Harvard Biz School is taking to the web with HBX, which will debut online courses on June 11. The article covers difficulties along the design path, including frustrations over how to replicate Harvard's famed case-method teaching approach and fundamental differences amongst HBS's most esteemed faculty members.
