Third Space Raises £750K to Grow Online Tutoring Platform

THIRD SPACE LEARNING: £750K (approximately US $1.26 million) to London-based Third Space Learning in a seed round. Clearly Social Angels, a network of angel investors, chipped in £200K; other participants include Charles Prior, Andrew Colin, Will Hobhouse, and Telefonica, reports EDUKWEST Europe. Founded in 2013, the startup offers an online platform that connects students with tutors for one-to-one math sessions. So far it's used in 70 schools across the U.K.
