Apr 14, 2014

QUORA: A whopping $80 million to Quora in a Series C round led by Tiger Global, with existing investors Benchmark, Matrix Partners, North Bridge Venture Partners and Peter Thiel also chipping in. It last raised $50 million in 2012. The Palo Alto-based company is currently valued somewhere between $800 and $900 million--a hefty sum given that it has no revenue, as the NYTimes reports. The popular Q&A social platform currently boasts over 400,000 topics, according to Forbes.
