BRIGHT, SHINY, AND NEW: ST Math has unveiled several new programs for middle/high students at NCTM in New Orleans, including a full suite for 6th graders. Fresh offerings also focus on remediation and intervention strategies, including a high-school intervention program with built-in diagnostics. In the science category, LEGO fanatics don’t just have obsess about the movie these days. Last Friday, LEGO Mindstorms released its Education EV3 Science Activity Pack, a collection of 14 physical science experiment for middle school students. Content focus includes energy, heat and temperature, force and motion, and and light.
