SOCHI DOES SCIENCE: How does a snowboarder get so much air? Does gravity affect a downhill skier’s acceleration? The Sochi Olympics begin tomorrow (and yes, we can't wait), so it’s time to start prepping those science labs with some of these sports-themed resources. Our fave resource: NBC Learn and the NSF’s Science and Engineering of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games video library. Nothing says physics like “Shaun White & The Engineering of the Half Pipe.”
