SCIFI SECRETS OF EDTECH GURUS: We have always admired Instrinsic Strategy's Frank Catalano's um, prescient view of education technology. Now we know why he's so smart: turns out that he's been writing scifi all along. Frank is quoted in this USAToday fun piece about the forthcoming movie, "Elysium." Cameo appearance (in the article) by another edtech starlet, Lynda Weinman, of Lynda.com fame. Turns out Lynda cut her digital teeth by doing special effects for classics such as Return of the Jedi and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, among other movies. The Force is strong with these two!
