Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Acquires Canadian Educational Game Developer

TRIBAL NOVA: Acquired by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for an undisclosed sum, according to the press release. Based in Montreal, Tribal Nova develops and publishes educational programs, games and apps for pre-K audiences. It also operates online learning portals, such as PBS Kids Play and Kids' CBC Wonderworld, for media outlets around the world. The Tribal Nova team will remain in Montreal, and operate as part of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's Content and Production Innovation group.
