BetterLesson plunges into the Common Core with Gates funding

Nov 20, 2012

BETTERLESSON: $3.5 million to Boston-based BetterLesson from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to support lessons from master teachers built around the Common Core. The plan is to recruit top teachers from around the U.S., give them exposure to "Common Core-knowledgeable coaches," and then capture and share the lessons they create. They're starting with math, grades 6 through 12. And they're recruiting teachers to participate. Drop them a note at christine.glandorf@betterlesson.com if you're a master teacher who is interested. All the gory deets on their blog post here.
