Remote Edtech Sales Leader

Seeking an experienced education sales leader with knowledge of the K-12 education market - a leader who understands the market, can become an expert on our solutions, identify opportunities, and achieve revenue goals. You’ll be a good fit if you are skilled at consultative sales, highly motivated, and prepared to build the business along with a small team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success selling edtech, or educational publishing solutions and should work well in a fast-paced environment, has a high energy level, and is driven to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain expertise on the portfolio of products

Research competition to strategically drive new sales

Maintain an understanding of industry trends

Build solid relationships

Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and follow up on territory management

Analyze data through HubSpot to drive business

Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline opportunities

Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of recent, sales and leadership experience in the education market

A quota-carrying individual contributor in the industry

Proven ability to manage a multi-million dollar pipeline of opportunities

Experienced with a CRM and building a pipeline

Excellent verbal and written presentation skills

Available to travel for meetings, trade shows or events

Demonstrated ability to work independently, past experience with working remotely in a home-office, with minimum supervision, knowing when to travel to close deals

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with state and local requirements in purchasing

Embraces technology enough to quickly learn new products as they are launched

Ability to connect with leaders on LinkedIn with willingness to promote on social media channels

Comfortable with managing professional presentations via webinar from your home
