Who you are:

A driven, committed sales person with a motivated, go-getter personality. We need quick-learners who are comfortable talking with IT Professionals - must be professional, personable and passionate!

What you will do:

  • Sell products that solve a number of challenges faced by higher ed IT teams
  • Proactively reach out to qualified prospects - customer outreach via phone, email and social media
  • Create demand for our product and services
  • Maintain a robust pipeline
  • Leverage your current contacts and our customer base to provide sales opportunities
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to IT Professionals
  • Manage an active data base of prospects
  • Close deals and complete the sales cycle!
  • Travel as necessary to customers, trade shows and industry events

Skills & Requirements


  • BA/BS degree
  • 2 – 3 years sales experience in a Higher Education technology or software oriented business is a must
  • Will consider a highly qualified pre-sales professional looking to move into a sales role
  • A proven track record in the Higher Education sales vertical with a reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer
  • Must possess a combination of both sales and a technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the decision maker level, as well as provide support to IT professionals
  • Understands how to uncover potential client needs in order to sell solutions
  • Highly motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Competitive, but team-focused and eager to aid in the success of teammates
  • Candidate will be home based at this time
  • Must be willing and able to travel to customers
  • Be creative and think out of the box!


  • Starting salary is between $65,000 - $75,000 plus an open-ended commission package.
