UI UX Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented UI/UX Engineer with a passion for design and education to support the continued development of our Inquiry Journeys platform. The UI/UX Engineer will be a conduit between the product/design team and engineering. They are a self-driven front end expert that helps propel our platforms further into a more modern and intuitive experience. The UI/UX Engineer will own and execute all user-facing experiences and be on the forefront of trends and best practices in web technology and design. The UI/UX Engineer will become InquirED's expert on all things EdTech User Experience.

We Are Looking for someone who:

  • has a solid understanding of React.js or other modern javascript frameworks
  • is fluent in HTML5 & SCSS / CSS3
  • can communicate clearly and concisely with a design team
  • has experience in wire framing and prototyping
  • knows or can learn GIT source control
  • has experience with Test Driven Development
  • knows to do cross platform testing without being reminded
  • is a master of responsive design
  • is an engineer with a heart for design

Bonus Points for:

  • Cypress End-to-End testing
  • Docker
  • Experience with the Laravel Framework
  • AWS Experience
  • Accessibility
