These are full-time, contract roles based in West Lafayette, Indiana. The contracts last 2-3 months with possibility to renew, and start in early July. Temporary housing is available.

Udacity is looking for motivated and passionate individuals to support the UConnect team as we bring Nanodegree programs to students in the familiar setting of in-person, face-to-face, learning sessions. As a Session Lead in Udacity’s Front End Nanodegree program, you’ll be responsible for guiding a cohort of up to 30 students through the online Nanodegree program so that they achieve graduation in eight weeks. You’ll plan and teach daily sessions and facilitate different activities to build community within the cohort.These are full-time, contract roles based in West Lafayette, Indiana. The contracts last 2-3 months with possibility to renew, and have a flexible start date in early July. Temporary housing is available.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lesson plans for each session according to the curriculum we provide.
  • Keep students accountable to making progress through the week (e.g., reaching out over email, answering questions over Slack, etc.)
  • Present Nanodegree content in an engaging and digestible format at every session.
  • Facilitate healthy group dynamics amongst students.
  • Organize community building events and guest speakers.
  • Participate in training prior to first session, including session(s) with Udacity staff and several hours of independent work familiarizing yourself with the Udacity Front End Nanodegree program.

  • Strong foundation of technical knowledge in the areas of Udacity’s Front End Nanodegree program.
