Territory Specialist - Philadelphia

Be part of our growth as a Territory Specialist in Philadelphia engaging school-level customers and prospects to help all students of all abilities become proficient readers.Ideal candidate will reside near/in territory.

Role Objectives:

  • Nurture and develop existing and new customer relationships at the site-level
  • Work with Account Executives to coordinate and execute an overall action plan for key accounts
  • Engage with school-based customers to enable the aligned Account Executive(s) to increase focus and time on district-level activities

Essential Job Functions

  • Under the direction of the aligned Senior Account Executive and sales leadership, execute plan to achieve sales goals for renewals and new business in selected major accounts
  • Conduct site-level account management and sales activities in named large, complex accounts by doing the following:
    • Identify and act on targeted networking activities with current Principals, Assistant Principals and Literacy Specialists at current and prospective customers
    • Ensure effective program use and high customer satisfaction by working with the Sales and Implementation teams
    • Support site-based renewal campaigns to ensure high-levels of customer retention
    • Develop and nurture relationships at the site level to support district-level sales strategy
    • Identify Customer Champions and gather success data
    • Deliver compelling in-person and virtual product demonstrations to individuals and committees
  • Effectively communicate Lexia’s pedagogy, research, features and benefits
  • Maintain action plan and calendar with aligned Account Executives to coordinate and log all site-based activities in Salesforce
  • Maintain customer information, track activity and results using Salesforce and other tools
  • Maintain an activity level of 10-20 sales events per week (including webinar and/or onsite meetings)
  • Travel during school hours 3-4 days per week with occasional over night travel if needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience working in perK-12 education as an educator or administrator; technology, reading/literacy curriculum experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of geographical territory with current contacts in K-12 education.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team
  • Experience as a Project Manager - identifying and tracking execution of milestones
  • Track record of goal attainment as a self-starter, proven success working remotely and in-person
  • Professional and proficient usage of technology tools (e.g. Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite)
  • A demonstrated ability to deliver/conduct high level presentations to groups and individuals both in person and virtually
  • Ability to develop relationships and collaborate with the Sales team on strategies to achieve goals for customer satisfaction, renewal and expansion
