Technical Support Specialist

Kent Denver School - Englewood, Colorado - Full time

Education and/or Experience Required:

  • High school diploma minimum. Associates degree or greater in a computer or information technology related field are highly preferred.
  • Experience with macOS, Apple iOS, Windows 7 or later, no less than 2 years.
  • Experience with mobile devices (Chromebook, iPad), no less than 2 years.
  • Positive, effective and professional customer service and relation skills with staff, students, community members and colleagues whose computer skill-levels vary widely
  • Proactive attitude in anticipating, pre-empting, finding and solving problems
  • A strong interest in education
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds safely

Preferred:

  • 1+ years working in tech support, preferred
  • Experience with wired and wireless network technologies.
  • Experience with documenting technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with Google products- Gmail, Google Drive, etc.
  • ITIL, A+, and/or Apple, Certified technician, Hardware and OS preferred

Employment

  • Supervisor: Director of Network and New Technology
  • 40 hours per week
  • Compensation range: $21-24/hourly
  • Benefits include health, retirement, and dental
  • Paid vacation, sick leave and personal days, with 1 additional week paid vacation over each of the school’s Fall Break, Winter Break and Spring Breaks
