Talent Acquisition Operations Associate

Pathstream - San Francisco, California - Full time

You will own the end-to-end recruiting and hiring process, creating a smooth and positive experience for external candidates and internal hiring managers. You will design and implement the processes of sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates, using data to constantly iterate and improve. Your role will also encompass some parts of people ops, team culture, and operations as relates to ensuring our team members are supported and successful. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Operations and is based in Pathstream’s headquarters in downtown San Francisco, CA.

What You’ll Do

Sourcing, Recruiting, & Hiring (75%)

  • You will work with our Operations team and hiring managers to run an end-to-end recruiting and hiring process
  • You will conduct the necessary research and then compose job descriptions, ideal candidate profiles, interview guides, and rubrics
  • You will use innovative sourcing methods and channels to develop a sustainable candidate lead strategy to efficiently identify and attract top candidates
  • You will employ tested strategies that enable you to design and facilitate an inclusive candidate evaluation process
  • You will develop our employer brand strategy and create a smooth and positive candidate experience, whether they are hired or not

People Ops, Culture, & Special Projects (25%)

  • You will work with our Operations team to establish the culture, values, norms, and operations that define our cycle of success—from employees’ first point of contact with Pathstream to their last
  • You will work with our People Operations Manager to ensure candidates have a smooth transition from candidate to employee
  • You will assist with the planning and execution of team events including all hands meetings, offsites, and various social gatherings and partner with leadership to contribute to the coordination and design of these events
  • You will assist with and lead special projects as required/able

You’ll be successful if:

  • You have 3-4 years experience as a recruiter at a tech company or startup
  • You have experience running a complete recruiting cycle, including job discovery, sourcing, evaluation, and selection
  • You are a disciplined user of applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage, track, and report on candidate pipeline and progress
  • You understand that adhering to a strong recruiting process leads to great results, and are constantly looking at data to see where the process can be improved
  • You are familiar with diversity practices and inclusive hiring methods
  • You have excellent communication skills—you’re capable of discovering and articulating conceptual ideas as well as detailed information about roles and opportunities
  • You have excellent judgment about people—you understand what motivates them, what they value, and who might be a fit for current and future roles
  • You are a culture builder—you seek to build relationships across teams and creatively build community among your coworkers
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, sometimes ambiguous environments with changing expectations and responsibilities
  • You understand that a job goes beyond a job description and are willing to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed
