Full-Time, Direct Hire Technical Implementation Specialist Opportunity!

Please note this is a full-time, benefits eligible position, not a contract role. We are based in downtown Minneapolis and have a collaborative and open office environment where our FUN team primarily works onsite to foster high interaction and iteration.

This is highly satisfying to our mission-driven team and we are adding an accomplished Technical Implementation Specialist with to join our Implementation team.

The Technical Implementation Specialist will work closely with our implementation team and with our customers with technical integrations within our FAST application and district applications. This position will work to establish an implementation project plan and timeline while effectively communicating with our customers on any shared responsibility or district specific tasks needed to complete the technical integration implementation. To better inform customers on the process for implementing the technical integrations, the Technical Implementation Specialist will create and maintain customer facing documentation. Following the successful implementation of the technical integration.

In addition to the required qualifications and skills found below, we seek individuals who will develop an understanding of the standard integration methods used by school districts for single sign-on, student information system integration for classroom roster data sharing and other API methods to shar information. You will partner with district IT or technology staff to develop and execute an implementation plan for a specific technical integration. This individual will also collaborate cross-functionally to ensure tasks owned by the company are completed as identified in a customer technical integration implementation project plan. You will also participate in implementation planning and kick off calls, creating and maintaining internal and customer facing documentation, engaging and supporting Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Quality Assurance Analysts and managing customer requests to use our automated batch import (ABI) process. In addition to the list above you will also be responsible for facilitating any necessary technical support with our partners and customers, identifying areas of ongoing improvement in methods and sharing possible opportunities to automate parts of the technical integration implementation process, and perform other special projects or tasks as requested.

Required Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of working experience in facilitating technical integrations between cloud-based applications
  • Strong knowledge of different type of SSO standards (e.g. oAuth, Google SSO, SAML)
  • Experience in troubleshooting applications to identify root causes for technical issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • Experience in creating technical implementation project plans
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully complete multiple complex technical tasks
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills
  • Working knowledge of productivity software including Google, Microsoft, and Slack.
