Talent Acquisition Manager (Raleigh, NC)

IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 13 million students worldwide, is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Manager to help us hire top talent. As a Talent Acquisition Manager at IXL, you will lead a talented team of G&A and technical recruiters and drive the strategy from sourcing to hire. You will work side by side with hiring managers and peers across every team within IXL to ensure that we hire the best individuals to work toward our mission.

This is a full-time position based in either our San Mateo, CA or Raleigh, NC office with a hybrid work schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Build, mentor, guide, and lead your Talent Acquisition team
  • Partner with hiring managers on different teams to develop a deep understanding of hiring needs and constantly evolve our recruiting process
  • Become an expert on IXL Learning so that you and your team can inform candidates about our products, positions, and company culture
  • Foster long-term relationships with high-caliber talent and build the best pipeline of candidates for our teams
  • Coordinate a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the outcome
  • Develop closing strategies for candidates, ensuring that they have the information they need to make the best decision
  • Develop meaningful recruiting benchmarks and metrics
  • Review recruiting data from all sources to identify trends and issues and promptly develop solutions
  • Present trainings and knowledge to the IXL team to further recruiting development across the company

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 8+ years of in-house recruiting experience, including at least 3 years of management experience
  • Technical recruiting experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree
  • Previous experience building and managing a Talent Acquisition team
  • Experience scaling an organization and recruiting for various type of roles, from roles including entry-level and experienced positions
  • A true interest in understanding technology and a passion for education
  • A sense of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to cultivate great relationships with stakeholders
  • A high volume recruiting background
  • Innovative, highly organized, detail oriented, able to work quickly and accurately, and able to change tasks and focus easily
