Subscription Renewal Specialist (Raleigh, NC)

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 11 million students worldwide, is seeking a Subscription Renewal Specialist to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for K-12 education, account management and client satisfaction. In this role you will be responsible for subscription renewal, upsell and retention in assigned territory. This person must be well organized, and extremely personable. We are looking for a quick learner who thrives in a fast paced environment, and is self-motivated with outstanding people skills and integrity.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Generate subscription renewal quotes for existing customers
• Proactively contact customers with expiring subscriptions and ensure highest possible renewal rate
• Develop a deep understanding of IXL’s products and what sets us apart from competing programs
• Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to customers via e-mail and phone
• Continuously contribute to the improvement of the renewal process
• Accurately track all renewal related activities and opportunity tracking in CRM
• Receive and process purchase orders, credit card payments, and checks
• Provide exceptional customer service to current customers
• Additional projects as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• BA/BS Degree
• Customer service experience
• Experience in K-12 education or renewal sales a plus
• Exceptional phone skills
• Comfortable with technology and passionate about bringing technology into the classroom
• Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
• Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel
