About the Student Success Coach Position

There are 32 million adults in the US who completed some college but never earned a degree. We’re looking for a personable and dedicated Student Success Coach to help these students get over the finish line and earn their degree. As a coach, you will help students who are completing college courses on Study.com, which they will then transfer to one of our partner universities to complete their degree.

Responsibilities

The Student Success Coach will propel students on Study.com to success by:

  • Checking in with students over email and phone to help them stay motivated and on track.
  • Providing support and encouragement when students are stalled as well as when they reach milestones.
  • Troubleshooting and answering questions.
  • Talking to prospective and new students over email and phone to help them understand how Study.com’s programs work.
  • Responding quickly to student emails and phone calls.
  • Helping students stay on track with their courses and updating their degree plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with multiple teams to launch new programs and determine coaching strategy.
  • Speaking to scholars at launch events and occasional workshops.
  • Supporting and collaborating with other coaches.
  • Helping to manage scale as our programs grow to reach thousands of scholars.

As a Student Success Coach, you will be a member of Study.com’s Coaching Team. You’ll work with a tight-knit, supportive group that is committed to making education accessible.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in any subject, either earned or actively in progress
  • Work or volunteer experience in coaching and supporting students
  • Exceptional communicator, both over email and phone
