Strategic Account Manager

IXL Learning - Raleigh, North Carolina - Full time

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 10 million students worldwide, is seeking Strategic Account Managers to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC.

In this role, you will be responsible for the health, retention, and expansion of IXL’s top tier district partnerships. You will build meaningful relationships with district leaders and provide support, insights, and strategies to help them lead strong, impactful IXL implementations. Strategic Account Managers must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be well organized, and have outstanding interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for K-12 education and helping educators to meet their students’ needs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Serve as a trusted partner for leaders in strategic IXL districts, providing ongoing support to ensure that they are achieving their goals for IXL
  • Collaborate with IXL Professional Learning team to deliver training sessions that align with district instructional goals and drive effective implementation of IXL
  • Analyze IXL usage data on an ongoing basis and deliver action plans, program walkthroughs, or presentations as needed to ensure IXL implementation is strong and supports district goals
  • Facilitate mid-year and end-of-year data consultations with school and district leadership to assess implementation quality
  • Develop and manage targeted campaigns to maximize teacher engagement and expand district implementations
  • Provide pricing and implementation proposals to secure renewals and drive expansion

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching in a K-12 setting; department or school level leadership experience a plus
  • 1-2 years of account management, customer success or enterprise-level experience in an edtech environment
  • Superb computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Google Suite, and SalesForce experience a plus
  • Ability to create reports and interpret/discuss data with teachers and district leaders
  • Proven organizational skills, high attention to detail, and superior time management
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively across teams
