Sr. Marketing Manager, Events and Memberships

A Senior Marketing Manager of Events & Membership, who has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. Someone who will tirelessly ensure that ISTE’s organizational brand, messaging, tone and graphic design are consistently implemented based on our established brand standards. You will be responsible for campaign planning & development, project management, and collateral development. If you collaborate across teams effectively, who love the rewarding challenge of building a brand, and are a critical thinker, you'll be an ideal candidate.


  • Partner with our product teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute on integrated marketing campaigns for ISTE’s events and membership programs.
  • Manage timelines & schedules, budgets and reporting regarding conferences, workshops, webinars and membership drives.
  • Gather research and insights on our target customer segments.
  • Author product brand positioning and messaging.
  • Lead project management of marketing programs, campaigns and projects.
  • Manage timelines for both internal and external resources.
  • Work with the digital marketing manager and other team members to use current tech tools to evaluate marketing results.
  • Stay on top of product owner KPIs and sales, and use this data to craft marketing plans and offer suggestions for future tactics.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to develop creative assets for cohesive marketing


  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, advertising or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing-focused positions with a proven track record of creative product marketing accomplishments.
  • Experience in member organizations and/or event promotion is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing marketing programs
  • Solid knowledge of campaign reporting and analysis.
  • Experience with the educator audience, specifically in the edtech space, is a big plus.
  • Hubspot or a comparable email marketing automation/workflow management tool.
