Position Overview:

Rosetta Stone is currently looking for a Senior Manager, Website Strategy who will play an integral role in shaping the direction of the web strategy for Rosetta Stone on www.rosettastone.com and all international sites. We’re looking for a team player who can build strong cross-functional relationships with various departments. The ideal candidate will be able to lead conversations at all levels about strategic direction for web implementation projects. The Senior Manager, Website Strategy is a self-starter who can juggle a variety of competing requests, establish clear priorities, map out and execute a vision, and ensure on-time completion of projects.

With the support of cross-functional partners, this role will be responsible for the website and how it fits into all stages of the customer journey, using data to guide UI/UX, and seeking ways to deliver better business outcomes and learner experiences. The Senior Manager, Website Strategy will serve as both a liaison and a central hub between project managers, developers, designers, internal clients, and business stakeholders, unifying goals and problems, aligning on expectations, and providing creative solutions that drive innovation and transformation.

This is an incredible opportunity for someone with 7-10 years of web product management experience who has worked for an ecommerce company. You will have a lot of autonomy to work with both the domestic and international stakeholders, as well as a team of developers. 

Core Responsibilities:

Serve as the strategic lead and point person for all Rosetta Stone web properties:

  • Develop and execute vision and strategic roadmap for rosettastone.com and international sites.
  • Articulate the objective of the overall website by vertical and geography, and set appropriate success metrics.
  • Define and plan toward our long-term vision while successfully delivering shorter term needs.
  • Partner with all site stakeholders to prioritize needs and determine how to allocate resources.
  • Proactively identify design, navigation, and usability optimization opportunities.
  • Manage a project manager with potential for more.
  • Oversee the coordination of web changes and web tests throughout their lifecycle.
  • Translate stakeholders’ needs into business requirements and drive the process to completion.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of web product management experience
  • CMS experience and ability to understand technical issues and communicate with development teams
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce best practices
  • Familiarity with web analytics and using data to drive decisions
  • B.S, B.A., or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with international teams highly preferred
  • Skilled in both direct management and managing through influence
  • Dedicated team player who is both self-directed and willing to multitask on various projects
  • Organizational and project management skills required
