Special Education Project Manager

InnovateEDU - Remote - Full time

About the Project

InnovateEDU strives to create uncommon alliances of organizations who are focused on solving large scale challenges in K12 education. To further an equity and inclusion agenda specifically for students with disabilities in March 2020, InnovateEDU along with five other founding partners created the Educating All Learners Alliance (EALA). The goal of EALA is to help ensure the continuity of special education services during remote instruction and to spotlight best practice approaches for schools and educators, an alliance of national education organizations has come together to ensure equity for all learners. EducatingAllLearners.org creates a hub of curated tools, strategies, tips, and best practices for supporting students with disabilities online. Our goal is to both curate and create special education resources for educators to serve students who learn differently during this time of challenge due to COVID-19.

As the Project Manager, you will help define and drive the editorial mission, vision, strategy and voice of the Educating All Learners Alliance. You will manage across multiple founding partner organizations and oversee a small team from alliance founding partner teams. Bringing an understanding of disability and education practices, you will set the strategy to prioritize what content will be curated from alliance partners and external sources, define the criteria for vetting content, and support the leadership team in the design of the user experience -- all in service of strategic impact goals for the alliance.

Who You Are

You are a mission-driven individual and believe in working to close the educational achievement gap through partnership, engagement and highlighting best practice approaches in the field of special education. You have project management experience, are a great writer, and have the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.

You are open to feedback, bring your best every day, and are ready to grow in all areas of your work. You want to join a team of folks who share your vision for mission-driven work.
