Spanish Reading Language Arts Product Director

WHO ARE YOU? You have experience with conceptualizing, creating and developing Spanish Reading/Language Arts curriculum products in the school market.

WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT? In this newly created role, you will lead the organizational efforts to create top quality and innovative K-5 Spanish Reading/Language products, programs and teacher materials.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Actively contribute and drive the vision, overall strategy, editorial and product development process
• Partner with internal stakeholders to establish effective and efficient processes, best practices, guidelines and workflows
• Stay updated on business and market needs and provide feedback to technology and other teams
• Provide coaching, training and daily management of team and freelancers and ensure deadlines/milestones are met

YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)

• Bachelor’s degree minimum required
• 7+ years creating the vision and managing the editorial development of reading/language arts products required
• Experience supervising and/or managing people, teams, and/or freelancers
• Full proficiency of Spanish language and grammar

IDEAL IF YOU HAVE or ARE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)

• Project Management skills
• Experience creating teacher materials
• Familiarity with digital and print educational language products
• Advanced degree
• Bilingual, dual language or other teaching experience

LOCATION - Remote or Hybrid: This role can either be fully remote or Hybrid (Boston, MA office location). Ideal candidate will reside within close proximity to our Boston office. If fully remote, candidate will be expected to travel to the office location on a regular basis.
