The Role

With over 20 years’ experience in the education field, we appreciate that a resource is only as good as the customer service behind it. The Social and Emotional Learning Coach will be responsible for providing our customers with consultancy services and professional development as they begin to uncover the needs of their students and develop suitable support initiatives. We are looking for an educator with in-depth knowledge of social and emotional learning (SEL) and an infectious passion for improving the way in which schools approach it. The successful candidate will provide consultancy to NYC school principals as they analyze their PASS data and train teachers to integrate SEL into their lessons.

Required Experience

This is a part-time role, based in the five boroughs of NYC. Ideal candidates will have: 

Senior leadership experience in a school environment 

Experience in consultancy and professional development

Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

Experience working in the field of Social and Emotional Learning

Experience in an K-12 urban school environment

The ability to adapt to the varied needs of schools
