We areseeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer tohelp our Engineering Team build products that support AchievementNetwork's (ANet)mission. WHAT YOU'LL DO

? Play akey role as an individual contributor in designing and implementing sustainable code for substantialfeatures and/or sections of code

? ImplementANet'snextgeneration of technology products that support data-driveneducational practices and help to close the achievement gap in theunderserved communities we partner with

? Create,monitor and deliver against the product road map and correspondingrelease cycles (asnegotiated with the Product Management Team)

? Provide strategic leadership in setting goals and measuringprogress in RESTful server-side APIs and/or agile, componentizedclient-side code

? Keep abreast of new technologies and propose adoption asappropriate

? Mentor and support the development of junior developers asappropriate

? Activelyembrace and model adoption of best software development practices,standards, patterns, documentation, and processes as defined by theteam

? Contributeto development practicesthat maintain and raise our bar for quality code

? Actively embrace and model best practices such ascodereviews, unit testing, and planning/scoping/vetting largerfeatures

? Proactivelylook for ways to build our team through individual contributionswhich help us improve code quality, team culture, and teamvelocity

Inorder to be successful in this role, candidates must demonstratethe following:

? Youare an exceptional individual contributor who prefers coding andhas recent hands-on experience designing, implementing, delivering,and maintaining high quality web applications using

? JavaScriptand TypeScriptframeworkssuch asAngular

? Javaand/or Go programming languages

? RESTfulWeb Services

? Software-as-a-service(SaaS) and Service-oriented architecture (SOA)

? CI/CDtools such as CircleCItoautomate software builds, tests, and deployments

? AWScloud infrastructure

? Youare skilledin working closely with business partners to build technologysolutions that meet the needs of internal and externalusers.

? Youare a team player who motivates and educates colleagues; you enjoyworking in a highly collaborative culture and valueprocessthat creates consistent, sustainable solutions across applicationsand sub-teams.

Ideal candidates may also demonstrate the following

preferred qualifications:

? 4+years ofsoftware development experience, including at least one year ofexperience in a high-scale enterprise environment

? Experienceon a mid-sized team where coordination and team review of bestpractices and pattern reuse is required.

? Experiencewith AWS featuresand how to manage them responsibly

? ABachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree

Thesalary range for this position is $112,500-$187,500. New staffmembers typically start between the range minimum and midpointbased on qualifications,experience, and internal equity. In order to uphold our commitmentto equity, ANetdoesnot negotiate pay.
