Senior Product Marketing Manager

Do you want to join the team of dynamic product marketers at the leading EdTech company in the world? We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Assessment and Platform. The Senior Product Marketing Manager creates and executes marketing plans that drive revenue. You will use data to measure success and support the sales team via targeted sales enablement tools. This cross-disciplinary role gives you the opportunity to shape the future of HMH while supporting national Assessment and Platform go-to-market.

You will work closely with Product Management, Customer Success, Learning Architecture, and Creative to bring customer-focused campaigns to life. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Product Marketing, you will adeptly manage multiple priorities and convey value to our customers.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in K-12 assessment marketing. A leader by nature, the candidate will exude the daily energy and optimism needed to communicate product value internally and to the customer. Experience driving strategy, executing tactics, and measuring results required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute key marketing strategies that drive revenue
  • Message solution and platform updates in a way that creates value for customers
  • Support the sales team as a solution subject matter expert
  • Provide competitive insights for comparable and emerging EdTech solutions

Education & Experience

Required:

  • BS/BA in related disciplines with a minimum of 5 years of EdTech experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' marketing experience in EdTech or K-12 assessment.
  • Experience creating and executing innovative marketing campaigns through multiple channels that drive demand.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills

Preferred:

  • Platform and/or K-12 Assessment experience strongly preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred

Knowledge &Skills

  • Independent thinker with leadership skills grounded in diplomatic communication and solid collaboration skills – able to lead or support as needed.
  • Creative, a problem solver who is flexible and solutions-oriented; can juggle multiple projects and pivot quickly based on internal or external stakeholder needs
  • Able to balance the big picture and attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills, including the ability to persuasively present subscription model and AI messaging to multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter: Driven to exceed goals, anticipate marketing needs and take ownership of competitive analyses and documentation. Possesses deep understanding of the needs of students, admins, and educators and can translate this understanding into customer-centric marketing strategies and deliverables.
