Senior Product Manager - Social-Emotional Learning and Non-Cognitive Products

ACT - Remote - Full time


Position objective: The Senior Product Manager provides experienced product management leadership and is accountable for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of products throughout their lifecycle, as well as supporting the need for continuous incremental innovation that results in a world class user experience.

Typical work-related activities include:

  • Execution of product strategies including product launch and sunset
  • Achieving volume, revenue, and margin targets as well as other key performance metrics
  • Manage product change including release of new versions, operational and system updates
  • Analysis of desirability, viability, and feasibility for incremental innovations of their products
  • Collaborate with Corporate Market Research team on qualitative and quantitative market research
  • Rapid prototyping and usability testing using internal and external resources
  • Support development of business cases
  • Day-to-day management of product related strategic partnerships
  • Monitoring and management of commercial readiness for new and existing products and services including development and management of product service models
  • Strong customer advocate able to provide insight into market and competitor trends
  • Support development and communication of product road map and vision
  • Collaborate with product managers, product owners, business analysts and cross functional teams

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area required, preferably in business administration or marketing
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience either in product management or development required
  • Experience with the following preferred:
    • Lean and Agile software development principles and tools
    • Pragmatic Marketing Framework preferred
    • Design Sprint and rapid prototyping processes
    • Online assessments
    • Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas
  • Expertise in preK-12 education, school climate and culture, and social and emaotional learning preferred
