Senior Partnerships Sales

Landed - Remote - Full time

Our partnerships with schools, hospitals, and local governments are growing! We’re excited to be expanding to new school districts, colleges, hospitals, and other essential employers, and we need more capacity to reach out and start conversations with potential partners and maintain the relationships we’ve already built. You will be joining a passionate, motivated group of people working on Employer Partnerships within Landed’s Customer Sales team, working together to bring Landed to new communities and share our story far and wide. You will report to the Manager of Employer Partnerships. This role is remote and based on the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Your primary objective is to build, manage, and close a pipeline of new Landed partner institutions in the Seattle, Portland, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix markets, while re-engaging existing partners in a coordinated effort with other members of the sales team. You will lead engagement and strategy to get new partnership deals across the finish line. You will strategize on these partnership deals with the Manager of Employer Partnerships, efficiently moving them through the sales process. Once a partnership is closed, you’ll work in tandem with other partnership team members to make launches a success and ensure that information on Landed is communicated to employees.

Convincing and closing new employers in education, healthcare, and government is an art. This involves establishing and strengthening relationships with key leaders via email, phone, online events, and more in order to build trust and convince them that Landed will benefit their institution. You will answer hard questions and handle objections in order to bring potential partners over the finish line.In the Partnerships Sales role you will:

  • Manage the sales and re-engagement process. You will drive Landed’s discussions with educational, healthcare, and government institutions in your territory to close deals and manage existing accounts. This will involve leading meetings, conducting phone conversations, sending email, and persuading leaders that Landed is worth exploring for their employees.
  • Identify opportunities. In order to inform your sales strategy and prospecting, you will pull data and conduct independent research to better understand the people and institutions we aim to partner with.
  • Network and collaborate. At times, you may attend conferences, events, and virtual gatherings on behalf of Landed, with the goal of meeting with current partners to develop relationships and potential partners to get them excited about and engaged with Landed. This may involve collaboration with teammates, enrolling others to facilitate connections, and soliciting referrals from existing partners to new employer partners.
  • Measure and track results. With the support of others on the team, you will be accountable for the number of people successfully engaged as converted by the emails, calls, and conversations you start.

We think you’ll be great for this role if you're...

  • You have 8+ years of work experience, and previous experience in enterprise sales and account management.
  • Based on the Western or Central regions. Specifically, you are located in Pacific or Mountain timezones, ideally in the metro areas of Seattle, Portland, Denver, or Salt Lake City.
  • A people person who is energized by talking to a diverse array of administrators and leaders in education, healthcare, and government.
  • You are independently motivated, focused, and organized in your work.
  • You are a good listener and adapt your communications style to best meet whoever you’re talking to.
  • Your natural mode is to be positive and open to change.
  • You have a comfort and a willingness to learn our systems (HubSpot, Slack, etc), and use data regularly in your role.
